SERVICED APARTMENT + HOTEL @ BANGSAR

Prime location is always the best advantage and for property development. Serviced apartment is more likely being developed tremendously and popular among other commercial development.

We have recently given an opportunity to design a mixed commercial building which contains hotel and serviced apartment located at Jalan Maarof, Bangsar. It is a 34 storey tower sits on 6 storey podium and 2 basement floors.

The hotel rooms and suites will occupy the entire level 7 to 20 and level 23 to 31 are accomodating apartment units. Last 32 to 34 floors are designated for 3 units of penthouse. Podium levels contain hotel lobby, apartment lobby, retail spaces, events hall, restaurant and multi level carpark.

We played around with full height glazing with random wall blades and cantilevered terraces On the facade. Solid walls striped up with groove to emphasize the continuity of the detailing lines.The overall concept of fragmented geometry been applied on the facade resulting a clean and uniform look of entire building.

After several proposals and experimental modeling being done, we have finally came to conclusion of the facade design as well as internal planning of the mall.

There are so many people get involved from day one until construction stage in designing this building which we think shouldn't be happen. Of course there are pros and conts of that, 

RETAIL MALL_facade option

This is another interesting project that I have been involved. It is a medium size mall
(Concept Mall as described by the client) at 500,000 sqft built up area located at Ara Damansara. The mall is surrounded by nine blocks of serviced apartment with two of them are sitting on the both end of the mall at level 4.
